What we collect

• Details you give us through our contact forms, subscribe form or live chat: your name, email address and the content of your message.

• Information you share with us in correspondence about a project, transaction or enquiry, including business contact details.

• Information about your use of the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies by our website platform.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange an introductory call: our legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

• To assess, deliver and manage an engagement: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.

• To send you updates if you subscribe: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by using the unsubscribe link or emailing us.

• To operate, secure and improve the website: our legitimate interests.

• To meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations, including identity and anti-money-laundering checks where they apply: legal obligation.

Who we share it with

• Our website platform provider, which hosts the site and processes form submissions on our behalf.

• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, who are bound by confidentiality.

• Capital partners, counterparties or other parties to a transaction, only where you have asked us to make an introduction or agreed to it, and normally under a confidentiality agreement.

• Authorities and regulators, where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal data.

International transfers

Some of our service providers, including our website platform, process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not proceed are kept for up to two years from our last contact. Client and engagement records are kept for up to six years after the engagement ends, or longer where the law requires. Subscriber details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@bromoda.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), although we would welcome the chance to resolve your concern first.
